Greensboro, NC, June 6, 2024—HealthTeam Advantage is proud to be a sponsor of a popular Triad concert series again this summer, Greensboro’s Music for a Sunday Evening in the Park (MUSEP).
The MUSEP series begins this Sunday, June 9, at Greensboro College. The concert begins at 6 p.m. and features the Greensboro Big Band. (See below for a complete list of dates and locations.) All concerts are free. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets.
As a sponsor, HealthTeam Advantage will have a table at the concerts, where families can pick up coloring sheets and nature scavenger hunts. Community Outreach Supervisor Shelby Kline says the MUSEP series is a good fit for HealthTeam Advantage—a local company offering Medicare Advantage plans—because music has so many health benefits.
“Music can have benefits for people of all ages, including mental, emotional, physical, social, and cognitive well-being,” says Kline, a recreational therapist. “It can improve skills such as memory, social health, and even heart rate and motor skills.”
