Medicare does not cover everything.

Original Medicare provides basic coverage, but there will be gaps in the coverage for initial deductibles for in-hospital coverage, deductibles for Part B, and provider costs plus a 20 percent co-insurance. Plus there are no additional benefits like dental, vision, hearing, and fitness. You will be responsible for a portion of your healthcare costs. Many people enroll in additional coverage options that help pay for costs and benefits not covered by Original Medicare.
